About me

I have over 15 years of experience in video journalism, as a team leader, manager, field producer, and reporter. Covering breaking news but also in-depth stories across Latin America, Europe, India, Middle East and Africa. I am currently freelancing as a video journalist and producer from London (UK).

On the academic side, I hold a PhD from the University of Wollongong. Previously, I studied Journalism at the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona and I also graduated in the MA Journalism within Globalisation: the European Perspective. The Masters awarded by three universities across Europe under the Erasmus Mundus program. In my second year, I chose the War and Conflict specialisation. In 2016, I studied an international documentary-making workshop at the EICTV, International School of Cinema and TV in Cuba. I am currently working as a lecturer in journalism at the University of Brighton.

Besides Catalan and Spanish, I am fluent in English, and I have an intermediate level of French and basic level of Portuguese. Aside from commanding several audio, video and layout softwares, I have worked both in front and behind the camera.
