It is practice-based research that comprises an exegesis and 56 minutes-long academic documentary film, One Woman Show. It addresses the challenges faced by women video journalists around the globe and explores their strategies for overcoming them.

The documentary project evolved beyond the doctoral research and has since been substantially redeveloped. A new version has been created through significant re-editing, additional footage, original music, and a renewed graphic and visual treatment. This version is currently being submitted to selected film festivals.
The project seeks to amplify the voices of women video journalists while encouraging discussion about gender, representation, professional identity, and storytelling in contemporary media.
